The Bentley 3500/46M is a 4-channel monitor that accepts input from a displacement 

sensor and a 3500-stator-mounted Air gap sensor (SMAG). The monitor processes the 

signal to obtain a variety of vibration and displacement information, and compares the 

processed signal with a user-programmable alarm signal. The safety pin failure alarm 

is driven by combining the change in shaft clearance with the NX amplitude.

In addition, any channel of the 3500/46M can be programmed with the 3500 framework 

configuration software to complete specific tasks. The monitor also has a variety of other 

features, including high-precision monitoring, multiple triggering methods, data storage 

and analysis, remote monitoring and alarm, and scalability.

In addition to the above mentioned features, the Bentley 3500/46M also has the following

The monitor adjusts the signal to provide vibration and position measurements and compares 

the adjusted signal with a user-programmable alarm.

The Hydro Radial Vibration channel combines shaft clearance motion with NX amplitude to
