The 72646B is a monitor designed to continuously monitor and protect equipment used in a variety of applications

and industries. It has four sensor inputs and four temperature inputs, and the software can configure each sensor

input to support 2 - and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors, or proximity sensors. Each temperature input

supports E, J, K, and T thermocouples and 2 - or 3-wire RTDS. The monitor's low cost makes it an ideal solution for

The 72646B is a model in Bently Nevada's family of 1900 protection monitors, a flexible, low-cost system 

designed to continuously monitor and protect general-purpose or non-critical equipment in multiple industries and applications.

Bently Nevada's monitoring systems, such as the 3500 series, are widely used to protect large, complex rotating 

machinery. However, for non-critical, essential or general-purpose equipment, this continuous monitoring system 

is rarely adopted due to its high cost, leaving these equipment in operation without adequate protection measures.

The 72646B is less costly than traditional frame-based systems and is a continuous online protection system. It

 uses the same proven and reliable circuit design used in the 3500 and 3300 monitoring systems.
