• Product Overview: The IS200GGXIG1A is a Mark VI series board assembly

  manufactured by General Electric for the Innovation series board rack in the Mark

  VI system. The Mark VI is an integral part of the Speedtronic family of gas/steam

  turbine management systems, developed starting with the Mark I and continuing

  for decades until the launch of the Mark VIe. The Mark VI includes a central control

  module responsible for the primary control, monitoring and protection of the system,

  which can be configured in triple redundancy or simple form.

• Function and Use: The IS200GGXIG1A is an extended load source board that provides

  control and isolation between the high voltage power bridge and other cards on the

  Innovation series board, such as BPII and BICI. It is capable of converting RS422

  signals into fiber optic signals to drive axle IGCT switchgear. The IS200GGXIG1A

  can connect up to 12 power devices.

• Physical Features and interfaces: The IS200GGXIG1A has multiple I/O interfaces for

  connecting to other boards. This includes power input (J1 to J4), power output and

  feedback connectors (J10 to J12), voltage feedback (J15 and J16), and fiber optic

  connectors for the GGXI board. In addition, the board has connectors that communicate

  with specific boards: JFBK is connected to the BICI board, JGATE is connected to

  the BPII board, and J5 monitors the control power to the GDPA board. The board also

  has ground spikes (LCOM and DCOM) for silent and noisy circuits.
