Emerson IC200UEX264 VersaMax Micro 64-point Expansion Card is a solid-state, 

microprocessor-based I/O expansion card for the VersaMax Micro programmable 

logic Controller product family. The number of connection points in the system can

 be extended up to 40 discrete 24 volt DC rated inputs and 24 24 volt DC rated 

source outputs.

The expansion card is the largest in the product family, and its processing power can

 be further expanded by integrating up to 4 additional expansion cards.

The Emerson IC200UEX264 VersaMax Micro 64-point Expansion Card allows users

 to add variables to the system and to read discrete signals such as limit switches, 

photocells, signals from buttons, and pressure switches.

The expansion card can send control signals to field devices, such as motor controllers

 and solenoid valves.

Users can easily configure the Emerson IC200UEX264 VersaMax Micro 64-point 

Expansion Card through software called PAC Machine Edition or by inserting a flash

 program memory card that supports hot swappable operation.

By using the provided RS-232 port and a second port (RS-232, RS-485, USB or Ethernet

 port), Emerson IC200UEX264 VersaMax Micro 64-point Expansion Card as master module, 

Modbus slave module, or Modbus TCP server to implement serial communication protocols 

(e.g Modbus).

The operating temperature of the expansion card should always be maintained at 0 to 60

 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).

In places where high temperatures are expected, the use of this expansion card is strongly

 recommended in enclosed enclosures with climate control or forced ventilation systems.
