The GE Fanuc IC600BF806 input module is a 12 Volts AC/DC input module. 

Four different types of AC/DC input modules are available from GE Fanuc 

including the 12 Volts AC/DC, 24 to 48 Volts AC/DC, 115 Volts AC/DC, and 

the 230 Volts AC/DC rated input module versions. The IC600BF806 input 

module has a total of 8 inputs and it is designed for use with the GE Series 

Six PLCs. This input module can detect bipolar DC and AC voltages which 

are supplied by user devices such as limit switches, relays, cam switches, 

and toggle switches. The inputs on the IC600BF806 input module are split 

into 2 independent groups with a separate neutral point for each group.

LEDs are provided for all the input circuits on the IC600BF806 input module 

to provide a visual indication of the circuit activity. Each input circuit consists 

of 4 components that are a rectifier, a Schmitt trigger, a noise filter, and an 

opto-isolator. The input circuit “on” range for the IC600BF806 module is 10 

to 20 Volts AC/DC and the input “off” range is 0 to 4 Volts AC/DC. The input 

load is 1 kiloohm (7 milliamps at 12 Volts). The rated “off” delay is 20 to 50 

milliseconds and the “on” delay is 10 to 20 milliseconds. At 5 Volts DC, the 

IC600BF806 module draws a maximum current of 104 milliamps. The circuit 

board dimensions are 8.15 x 11 inches and the faceplate dimensions are 

12.46 x 1.175 inches. The temperature outside the rack containing the 

IC600BF806 module should be maintained between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.
