Details
The Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV is a servo control module. The module is a single-axis and closed loop controller and compatible with a variety of SLC 500 processors. It features block execution that works independently of scan time. The module tracks encoder feedback for up to 300 kHz for fast, precise, and accurate control. The 1746-HSRV servo module consists of 3 inputs and 1 output for 24V DC power. It offers an analog velocity command that limits up to ±10V DC. The 1746-HSRV works in configuration and command. It interfaces directly with +5 or +15 V encoders. The 1746-HSRV does not have any memory retention on power cycles. The backplane current at 5V is 300 mA and it has 3 general purpose local fast inputs. The module has 1 general-purpose local fast output with 2 ms module update time. At 0° quadrature error, the module has 300 kHz maximum input frequency. Thermal dissipation is 1.5 Watts for both the minimum and maximum dissipation. It provides an LED indicator to help you identify the error and perform troubleshooting. The module measures 5" x 2" x 6" (13 cm x 5 cm x 15 cm) in dimensions and weighs 15 oz (0.43 kg) in approximate weight.
The Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV is an SLC 500 Servo Control Module. This module controls absolute position utilizing a 32-bit register. It supports a variety of command modes such as Absolute moves, Incremental moves, Speed moves, Monitor moves, Hold moves, Unhold moves, Blend moves, Emergency stop operations, Homing operations, Preset operations, Clear faults and Alternate home moves.
It is a single slot module that is used in compatibility with SLC 500 processors, specifically, SLC 5/03, SLC 5/04, and SLC 5/05 processors. Up to twelve (12) 1746-HSRV can be installed in a single rack, enabling control of multiple servo motors.
The 1746-HSRV is a Class 3 module with 12 input words, a maximum and 12 output Words, maximum. In configuration mode, the module utilizes the M files for accessing the module’s parameters and defining operation. When installing to an SLC 500 rack, Allen-Bradley recommends use of Slot 0 or the lest numbered slot. Basically, install this module as close to the processor as possible.
The 1746-HSRV has a backplane current consumption of .300 Amperes @ 5 Volts DC and .104 Amperes @ 24 Volts DC. For connection to the servo control motor system, this module is ideally used with the 1746-HT termination panel. A 1746-HC cable is used to connect the servo module to this termination panel.
