[Product Description]:

The IC697ACC series is a GE I/O bus terminal plug dedicated to the GE Fanuc 90-70 series. The bus terminal plug is usually provided with each bus sink module and is only needed in the last bus sink module in the chain. If the bus expansion module is not at the end of the chain, the terminator plug can be saved as extra or discarded according to user preference. If the bus receiver module is at the end of the chain, the unit requires a terminal plug.

The terminal plug should be installed in the lower Expansion Port labeled Expansion Port Out. The plug can then be attached using the included screw. In standard PLC systems, this is done by mounting a resistor bank located inside the terminal plug. In a hot-spare CPU redundancy system, special I/O cables are required. There's a built-in terminal system. Manufacturers recommend using resistance plugs with terminated cables.

When installing the IC697ACC series, the user must ensure that the device is powered off and that the correct guidelines are followed in the manual. This special I/O bus terminal plug is compatible with GE series 90-30 modules and is required for every native expansion pack. The LED in the middle indicates whether an end plug is present on the compatible model. Conformal coating and low temperature test options are available through special orders.
