The powerful VersaMax processor can have up to 64K of user memory for applications, floating-point number calculations, real-time clock, subroutine, PID, flash memory, and undisturbed run mode, providing a powerful wide range of features in a small size. It includes automatic I/O addressing - extensive diagnostics including internal error tables and LED displays for system errors and I/0 enforcement - enabling operators to perform high quality maintenance.

Network communication module

The network communication module allows VersaMax controllers to be based on several industry standard networks. Profibu's NCM allows VersaMax to function as a slave station in the Profibus-DP network. ProfibusNCM supports high data communication rates - up to 12M bits per second. DeviceNet's NCM offers both master and slave modes and provides low-cost communication connections to industrial devices such as CANbus buses. AS-interfaceNCM is a master module that provides links to the underlying sensor and actuator slave devices.

Network interface unit

Network interface units provide and comply with Genius network, Profibus network, DeviceNet network, and Fthernet network connections from devices. These network interface units provide users with fast network connections for factory-level communication.

Power module

The VersaMax power module port can be inserted into any VersaMaxCPU or NU, or installed into the power module expansion base. Each power supply can be used as a primary power supply for modules at an I/O site, or as a supplementary power supply for a large number of I/O applications.

I/O module

VersaMax features a wide range of digital and analog I/O modules, including digital input, digital output, digital Hybrid I/O modules, analog input, analog output, and analog Hybrid I/O modules to meet the various needs of user processing.
