The IC220DBI001 is a network interface module in GE Fanus Automation's
VersaPoint family.
The network interface unit uses the DeviceNet slave protocol and has an
active life cycle state.
Data rates up to 500 kbaud.
The module supports serial communication, but does not support firmware
upgrades.
No network support or digital LCD display.
There is no digital input or output on the module.
The I/O network interface unit connects the VersaPoint I/O module to the host
PLC or computer over various networks, facilitating the inclusion of VersaPoint
I/O in PROFIBUS-DP, Ethernet or DeviceNet.

NIU can provide a maximum of 2A logic supply current.
The maximum number of data words is 1000 bytes (input and output).
Voltage jumpers have limited current carrying capacity.
DeviceNet supports failed node recovery, automatic site configuration, polling I/O
slave station messaging, point data objects for discrete and analog inputs and outputs,
addressable hardware or software, and UCMM (peer-to-peer) communications.
