The IC697MEM732 module is an expansion memory module manufactured by GE Fanuc. The IC697MEM732 expansion module is classified under GE Series 90-70 and it delivers up to 512 KB of memory. The IC697MEM732 module provides the logic and data memory for the CPU models 780, 781, 782, 788, and 789 from GE Fanuc. The IC697MEM732 module ensures the proper operation of the CPUs on which it is installed, while the baseboard holds the RAM. The IC697MEM732 module is usually installed as the daughterboard in a PLC when it is situated on the same slot as the module that it serves. The IC697MEM732 module does not need an additional slot for installation. The IC697MEM732 module comes with various features and different capacities. These include capacities of 128 KB, 256 KB, and also 512 KB. It is configurable for data and the program storage and when there is a power disconnection, the memory is not lost.
