The GE/Bently Nevada 9200/74712 series velocity seismic detectors are indeed designed to 

measure the absolute vibration of bearing housings, casings, or structures. The detector uses 

a two-wire system design that includes a sensor, appropriate cables, and an optional 

speed-to-displacement converter.
